Exercise: "Modified Knee Raises (abs)" by Sruthan Wants Abs

More info / tips / proper technique:

Start by lying on your back with knees bent and the soles of your feet on the floor like a traditional crunch position. Put your arms straight down at your sides with palms down near your hips to aid stability. Raise your shoulders a little off the floor to firm your abs.

Use your lower abs to pull your knees in towards your chest, pivoting at the hips, keeping the knees at a constant bend. Hold the muscle contraction at the top of the movement for a count of two, and then lower your legs back down, touching your heals lightly on the floor. Do not rest the weight of your legs at the bottom of the motion -- you want to keep a constant tension on your ab muscles throughout all reps.
