Exercise: "Pushups" by Ryvr

Pushups are one of the oldest and most time-tested exercises for the chest and arms. They are a great resistance workout which can be performed anywhere and anytime, using no equipment but the weight of your own body.

Start lying on your front with eyes looking at the floor or slightly forward, feet slightly and comfortably separated with toes bent under, and arms should-width apart with palms on the floor and fingers pointing forward. Now lift your torso up until your elbows are about straight, but not locked. Keep your body in a straight line from head to feet, and move only from the arms, pivoting on your toes. Lower back down, letting your shirt, chest-hair, or nost lightly brush the ground without resting any weight at the bottom of the movement.

Pushups are best done barefoot to use the flexibility and traction in your toes for stability. Vary your speed from workout to workout, sometimes fast, other times slow and medium speed.
